Folks Farm News
We are getting back into the swing of things and have a couple events coming up. First, we will be at Horse and Dragon Brewery on February 18th from 11am-1pm to talk about the CSA program and our work with the Vegetable Connection to provide low income vegetable shares. If you have been considering a share and have questions this would be a great opportunity for some clarity as well as rubbing shoulders with a real live farmer.
Second we will be at the Fox Den on February 25th to celebrate their 2nd birthday! In keeping with the theme we will have seeds available, buy 2 packs get one free. There will be plenty of other makers to support and themed activities.
Since releasing this blog I have been pleased to watch it grow and love how people resonate with the content. Like farming, writing is a labor. Moving forward we will be putting out weekly content available to paying members and bi-weekly content for free subscribers. Each week you will receive a farm update, the more crafted writing will be available every other week. My hope is to gain support for the craft, raise our numbers from 4% of subscribers paying, and offer those supporters the extra content.
CSA shares are available for the 2024 season. With several projects on the horizon your support of the farm today helps bring veggies to fruition! Some of these tasks include starting the first seeds of the year, constructing a new high tunnel, and the annual farm clean up. We look forward to growing your vegetables, flowers, and herbs this year!
